I still visit
All the places
I once called HOME
The prairies the dry
days of agriculture
that turned into suburbia that turned
into city life
searching for color
Around the world
to finally land in a
Dry Concrete Wasteland
A Small Town, she says in jest
And then I wanted more
The Big Big Cities,
eventually led me to the green rainforest
in the midst of a semi-city
surrounded by rural, lost country
a giant diamond
on the map for now
at least,
like the rest
I’m not sorry
It just is
I just am
a rambling man.
